Our goal in planning the Honors Academy is to extend the Honors vision to you as high school students. Every book you read, every painting you view, every scientific formula you learn is an attempt by a man or woman to compress experience into a line of print, the stroke of a brush, or the complexity of a formula. This is the means by which others extend their visions to us. We ask you to join with authors, painters, scientists, thinkers and UTA students to extend the vision. |

The University of Texas at Arlington Honors College offers an outstanding program of study for exceptionally motivated high school students. Enroll and earn up to eight credit hours per semester towards your college degree while also meeting your high school graduation requirements. You can enroll in any UTA semester for as long as you are officially a high school student. You may choose from a multiplicity of college courses. You will be challenged to investigate new ideas from a variety of disciplinary perspectives and will be taught by and interact with top research faculty. | |

To apply to the UT Arlington Honors Academy, you must review and complete the Honors Academy Application and the UT Arlington Early Admission Program Agreement documents. They are provided below in Adobe PDF. Please return the forms to UT Arlington Honors College with the following: 1) $35.00 application fee; 2) Official High School transcript including: Class standing and rank, PSAT and/or SAT or ACT score, TAKS scores (a "sealed" copy of score sheet is acceptable); 3) Early Admission Program agreement signed by the high school representative, student and student's parent or guardian.
