The Honors College Council (HCC) is a student organization, which allows Honors College students to have a voice in campus policy, as well as to create an environment in which individuals of similar goals and ambitions can socialize and work together to serve their campus and community. HCC works in three main areas:

Policy: HCC interacts with Honors College staff to provide a student voice in decision-making. HCC affects UTA policies through representatives on UTA's Student Congress.

Publication: HCC publishes a quarterly newsletter by and for Honors students.

Programming: HCC plans many events to benefit Honors students and the wider community. These include events which provide a chance for Honors students, faculty, and staff to get together and listen to guest lecturers; and teaming with other Constituency Councils for campus events, including an annual campus-wide event to raise money for a local charity.
